In April 2013, EP Vice President Lazlo Surjan¸ EPWG on FoRB member, and the EPWG on FoRB co-hosted an event on religious freedom in the world in 2012 in the European Parliament. During the meeting the Brussels based NGO Human Rights Without Frontiers Int’l presented two reports on freedom of religion or belief in the world in 2012. The reports provided current information and legal analysis on countries of particular concern, presented various components of freedom of religion or belief, and enclosed the list of prisoners jailed for exercising their religious beliefs.
