Join our Annual Report Launch, June 30th

The time and place has been set for the launch of the EP FoRB Intergroup Annual Report on “The State of Freedom of Religion or Belief in the World 2015-2016”!

(*The Intergroup would have loved to have included an even broader representation of belief groups in the video, including from other Muslim and Hindu organisations. Unfortunately due to short notice, this was not possible. Should you wish to send a video statement about Report to the Secretariat do feel free.)

The event will take place on 30th June 10.00-12.00, in the European Parliament Brussels, Rm P1A002. We can already confirm that UN Special Rapporteur on freedom of religion or belief Heiner Bielefeldt will be speaking, as well as the US Department of State representative Knox Thames.
This year’s report will include over 50 country profiles, detailing the issues facing freedoms of religion or belief in each, as well as specific recommendations for the EU.
We hope to see you there. If you would like to register, please reply to secretariat@religiousfreedom.eu sending your:
